Ahead of the big-screen release, the final trailer for The Marvels was unveiled earlier today. The trailer provides additional peeks into the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. In addition to a sequel to Captain Marvel, Brie Larson also stars in the film, featuring Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau (Photon), whose stories were told in the Ms. Marvel and WandaVision series.

With only a few days until its theatrical release, Marvel Studios announced that the last trailer for The Marvels would premiere during Monday Night Football. The third and final trailer for the film has arrived; check it out below:

Carol Danvers' MCU journey

In The Marvels, Carol Danvers' journey across the MCU up to and including her role in Avengers: Endgame is summarised in the film's final trailer. Additional scenes with the three superheroes working together to defeat their shared nemesis, Dar-Benn, from the fifth phase of the journey are also included in the video.

Although it had been speculated that Tessa Thompson would reprise her role as Valkyrie from Thor: Love and Thunder, she does so in the final trailer for The Marvels. It's not known if Valkyrie's appearance is just a cameo or if she'll have a recurring role in the rest of the film. It's unknown why Marvel Studios opted to sneak Valkyrie into the final trailer just days before the film's wide release.

X-Men are here!

But the X-Men, who have been heavily teased to make an appearance, may also play a role in The Marvels. Fury exclaims, "They are here," and the trailer for The Marvels encourages viewers to be there for the moment that changes everything. One of the most recent promotional videos drew additional attention to the X in what comes next, so it stands to reason that mutants will play a role in the next installment.

Finally, towards the end of The Marvels trailer, a mysterious character appears who many believe to be Captain Marvel in her Binary form. The person who walks past Monica appears to be dressed like Binary, yet it could be someone else.

Countdown to The Marvels release

Only a few days remain before everyone finds out what The Marvels means for the future of the MCU. Yes, you can watch the film on the big screen on November 10, 2023, which is a Diwali release in India.
