X-Men '97

X-Men '97 is an American superhero animated television series created by Beau Demayo. It is based on the Marvel Comics superhero team X-Men created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The animated series is a revamped continuation of X-Men: The Animated Series which aired from 1992 to 1997. The new animated series picks up where the previous one left off. The plot shows the X-Men trying to regroup themselves after the death of their leader Professor X and facing formidable villains and challenges. Studio Mir supplied the animation, which is a contemporary take on the original series' aesthetic. Cal Dodd, Lenore Zann, George Buza, Catherine Disher, Chris Potter, Alison Sealy-Smith, Adrian Hough, Christopher Britton, Alyson Court, Lawrence Bayne and Ron Rubin are voice actors from the original series to reprise their roles or take on fresh roles. The new addition to the cast are Ray Chase, Jennifer Hale, Holly Chou, A. J. LoCascio and Matthew Waterson. This series will be the first X-Men outing for the Marvel Studios after regaining rights for the characters.
